Built for School and district IT collecting devices at year end.

Collection  4 items

  • Produce the expected list
    Every device currently assigned, grouped by year and tutor group.
  • Check devices in against the record
    Scan or record the serial as each one is returned.
  • Check accessories returned
    Charger and case are the usual gap. Record what is missing.
  • Chase outstanding devices
    Anything not returned after the first pass needs a named owner and a date.

Inspection  3 items

  • Inspect for damage
    Screen, hinges, ports, keys. Photograph anything chargeable.
  • Separate repair from retire
    Compare repair cost against the device age before deciding.
  • Record chargeable damage
    Note the device, the damage and who it was assigned to.

Reset and re-stock  4 items

  • Wipe and re-enrol
    Return to a known clean state and confirm it reports in again.
  • Update the assignment record
    Unassign from the student so custody history stays accurate.
  • Store by condition
    Ready-to-issue, awaiting repair and awaiting disposal kept apart.
  • Report the shortfall
    Total returned, damaged and missing — the number the budget conversation needs.
