A PSA sized for your MSP — not the one selling you an RMM

Multi-client ticketing with per-client targets, a branded portal, asset sync and contract renewals, at $12 per agent with no per-technician minimum. If you already run an RMM, stop paying for a second one bundled inside your PSA.

The PSA costs more than the work it manages

The all-in-one platforms start near $129 per technician because monitoring is bundled in. For a three-person MSP that is a five-figure annual commitment before a single ticket is answered.

You are buying an RMM twice

The PSA includes monitoring you already have, and the price reflects it whether you switch it on or not.

Client context is scattered

The ticket is in one tool, the device in another, the contract in a folder. Every escalation starts with reassembling the picture.

Status chasing eats the day

Clients ring to ask where their request got to, because there is nowhere for them to look it up themselves.

Built around clients, not just tickets

Genuine multi-client structure

  • Every ticket, asset, site and contract belongs to a client
  • Switching between accounts is the normal path, not a saved filter
  • Agent groups scope who can see which clients
  • Up to 100 clients on the free plan, unlimited on Pro

Per-client response targets

  • Response and resolution targets set per audience and per priority
  • Live countdown badges on the queue so lateness is visible
  • The clock stops while a ticket is on hold
  • Breach detail and per-audience compliance reporting

A portal clients will actually use

  • Branded with your logo, company name and support details
  • Passwordless sign-in — a one-time code, nothing to reset
  • Clients raise requests, follow status and search your knowledge base
  • Portal access can be restricted to specific IP addresses

Every way in, one queue out

  • Email-to-ticket with quoted replies stripped automatically
  • Portal submissions and manual entry land in the same list
  • Client requests and internal jobs share one priority order
  • Canned responses, task templates and recurring scheduled work

The commercial side

  • Contracts and renewals with reminders before they lapse
  • Budget against actual spend per agreement
  • Contracts link to the client and the property they cover
  • One click turns a renewal into an assigned task

An assistant that does the admin

  • Ask Insight in plain English and it creates and updates records
  • It works across tickets, clients, assets, contracts and the knowledge base
  • Answers questions about your own data, not the internet
  • Free plan included, at 32 requests a day

A client request, end to end

1

It arrives however the client prefers

Email or portal. Quoted history is stripped, and it lands against the right client automatically.

2

The clock starts

Assign the audience at triage and that client’s response and resolution targets apply immediately, with a live countdown on the queue.

3

The tech has the context

The client, their site, the device, its warranty and every past ticket on it are on one screen — not four.

4

It closes with a record

Time logged against the contract, resolution recorded, history searchable. The client sees the outcome in the portal without ringing you.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an RMM?

No. Vertask is the service-desk and PSA side — tickets, clients, assets, contracts, projects and a portal. It reads device data from Microsoft Entra/Intune and LogMeIn Central, but it does not monitor, patch or remote-control anything. Keep the RMM you have; this is the part it does not do.

What does it actually cost for a small MSP?

Free for two agents and up to 100 clients, with unlimited tickets and no credit card. Beyond that it is $12 per agent per month, which also unlocks IT assets, contracts, projects and properties. There is no seat minimum and no annual contract.

Does it do client invoicing or billing?

No. You can track time against tickets and contracts and export it, but Vertask does not raise invoices or integrate with accounting software. If billing inside the PSA is a hard requirement, this is not the right tool.

Can my clients see their own tickets?

Yes, through a portal branded with your logo. They sign in with just an email address — a one-time code, so there is no password to reset — and can raise requests, follow status and search your knowledge base.

Do clients consume a paid seat?

No. Portal users are free and unlimited. Only agents — the people doing the work — consume a seat.

Can I try it without committing?

The free plan is not a trial. Two agents, 100 clients and unlimited tickets, with no expiry and no card on file. Upgrade if and when the team or the modules require it.
