One of the things we focused on while creating Vertask was making it as simple and intuitive as possible. We believed a user should be able to sign up and start using or product effectively right out the gate, so we simplified the on-boarding process as much as we could.
But under that hood, Vertask offers many configurable options that allow you to tweak and enable various options to make your experience and dashboard more unique. We realized that IT covers many different areas of a business, and wanted something that can be adaptable regardless of what part of IT you belong.
The person who registers the account, the account holder, can control various aspects of other accounts, while each account has various options they can tweak, and additional security control they can enable to better secure their account.
Vertask always does basic logging whenever anything is created or deleted, so there is always a trace if needed, holding each agent accountable for their work.
Agents can each have unique permissions that allow them to modify or just view various components of the dashboard, like assets and location information.
Decide if you want clients with access to their dashboard to be able to pick who a task is assigned to, or automate the process behind the scenes.
Create and manage custom tags, or create custom resolution options. You can even decide if clients can access their dashboard from any IP, or specify IPs, or force all agents to use two-factor authentication to access their accounts.
