Manage asset types and manufacturers Last updated: Sep 27, 2026

Asset types (for example, Laptop, Printer, Software) and manufacturers are the lists you pick from on each asset.

Asset types

1. Go to Settings > Asset Types (or use the ⋯ menu on the Assets page > Asset Types).
2. Click New to add a type with a description and photo.
3. Click Merge to combine duplicate types.

Manufacturers

1. Go to Settings > Manufacturers.
2. Click New to add a manufacturer and logo.
3. Click Merge to combine duplicates.
