The Vertask Share Extension lets you create a ticket from content in other apps on your iPhone or iPad.

You can share text, links, web pages, files, and photos directly to Vertask without switching back and forth between apps.

You can send the following types of content to Vertask:

For example, you can share a webpage you need to follow up on, a photo of an issue, or a document that needs attention.

To share something to Vertask:

The shared content is used to help populate the ticket, so you don't have to manually copy and paste information between apps.

Before submitting, you can review and enter:

This gives you an opportunity to edit the information before the ticket is created.

When you share a photo to Vertask, the photo is attached to the ticket's comment thread.

You can also share files directly to Vertask.

The Share Extension supports files up to 25 MB. Files larger than 25 MB cannot be uploaded.

When you submit shared content, Vertask displays upload progress so you can see that your content is being sent.

You'll also receive confirmation when the ticket has been successfully filed or if the upload fails.

You need to be signed in to Vertask before you can file a ticket through the Share Extension.

If you aren't signed in, Vertask lets you know before you spend time filling out the ticket.

Imagine you're browsing a website and find something that needs attention.

Instead of copying the URL and opening Vertask manually:

Safari → Share → Vertask → Review ticket → Submit

The webpage or link can be sent directly to Vertask, where you can add the necessary ticket details and submit it.

The Share Extension is especially useful when you're already working in another app and want to turn something you find into a Vertask ticket.
