Finding a Specific Ticket
For ticket-related commands, you can generally identify a ticket using either its ticket number or a few words from its title.
For example:
“Check Vertask ticket 42.”
or:
“Open the Vertask ticket about boiler service.”
Ticket numbers can be spoken in several ways, such as “42,” “ticket 42,” or “number 42.”
Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, and the Action Button
Vertask integrates with Apple's system features so you can access supported actions in several ways:
Siri — use supported commands with your voice.
Shortcuts — add Vertask actions to your personal shortcuts and automations.
Spotlight — search for Vertask actions from your iPhone or iPad.
Action Button — access Vertask shortcuts on supported iPhone models.
Some Vertask actions are available through Shortcuts, Spotlight, and the Action Button even when they don't have a dedicated spoken Siri phrase.
Tips for Using Siri
Say “Vertask” when asking Siri to perform an action.
Be specific about what you want to do, such as “open,” “check,” “close,” or “list.”
When working with a specific ticket, provide its ticket number or a few words from its title.
