Vertask widgets let you see your ticket workload directly from your iPhone or iPad Home Screen—without opening the app.

Widgets can show ticket counts, individual tickets, and due dates. Tap a count or ticket to jump directly into Vertask.

What can the widget show?

Depending on the widget size, you can see:

• Ticket counts by status

• Individual tickets

• Due dates

• Your current Vertask workload

Available widget sizes include:

• Small

• Medium

• Large

• Extra Large on iPad

Larger widgets can display more information.

Add a Vertask Widget

On your iPhone or iPad:

1. Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen.

2. Tap Add Widget (+).

3. Search for Vertask.

4. Select the widget size you want.

5. Tap Add Widget.

6. Move the widget to your preferred location.

7. Tap Done.

Interact with the Widget

The widget isn't just for viewing information—you can use it to jump directly to the relevant part of Vertask.

Tap a ticket

Tap any ticket shown in the widget to open that ticket in Vertask.

Tap a ticket count

Tap a status count to open the corresponding filtered ticket list.

For example, tapping an Overdue count takes you to your overdue tickets.

Widget Sizes

Small

The Small widget provides a quick overview of your ticket counts along with a selection of tickets.

Medium

The Medium widget provides more space for ticket information and includes ticket counts alongside your workload.

Large

The Large widget provides a more detailed view of your workload, including multiple tickets and their due dates.

Extra Large — iPad

On supported iPads, the Extra Large widget uses the additional screen space to display tickets across two columns.

Your Information Stays Up to Date

Vertask widgets automatically refresh periodically so the information on your Home Screen stays current.

The widget may also display cached information when a fresh update isn't immediately available. This helps prevent the widget from simply appearing blank while waiting for an update.

Your Tickets Are Kept Separate

Widget information is associated with the currently signed-in Vertask account.

When you sign out, or when the account credentials are no longer valid, the cached ticket information is cleared. This prevents tickets from a previous account from remaining visible on the Home Screen.

Text Size and Accessibility

Vertask widgets adapt to the text size you've selected on your device.

If you use a larger text setting, the widget automatically adjusts the amount of information it displays rather than cutting off or overlapping text.

With a Vertask widget on your Home Screen, you can quickly:

• See how many tickets you have

• Check your open tickets

• Spot overdue work

• See upcoming due dates

• Open a ticket

• Open a filtered ticket list
